Odis Jones is the CEO and managing partner of Cobblestone Development & Consulting, Cobb Campus, and Cobb Asset Solutions. He is an experienced executive with more than 30 years of involvement in public and private real estate. He is widely regarded as a skilled economic stimulator with particular expertise in public finance and complex real estate transactions.
Odis has successfully positioned and sold over $2 billion in investment capital projects to institutional and private wealth investors. His impressive accomplishments have earned him recognition from notable publications such as Time Magazine, The Atlantic, and Forbes Magazine, as well as the President of the United States.
One of his most noteworthy achievements was being featured in a Citi Bank television commercial during the Olympics, which highlighted his successful execution of a $250 million bond transaction for the rebuilding of Detroit, Michigan.
Odis has been honored with numerous awards, including the Michigan Chronicle's Man of Excellence Award, the Mid-Ohio Development Exchange's Public Sector Developer of the Year Award, and recognition by the Southern Poverty Law Center.
Odis holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and a Master of Science in Public Administration, as well as executive training in capital markets from Harvard University.
DERRICK PRYOR
VICE PRESIDENT, CAPITAL MARKETS
Derrick Pryor has an extensive real estate development, management, finance, and sales background. He is a skilled negotiator and manager with an entrepreneurial mindset. Derrick excels in written and verbal communication and is an enthusiastic and dedicated leader.
As a significant contributor to Cobblestone's investment and growth strategy, Derrick is involved in all aspects of the business, including new market expansion, acquisitions, financing, equity raising, portfolio asset management, and launching new developments. His experience in the real estate industry has sharpened his ability to identify opportunities and execute successful deals.
Derrick graduated from Denison University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and has successfully led teams in various business ventures, leveraging his strong leadership skills. His proficiency in navigating complex financial transactions has been instrumental in driving the company's growth.
KELSEY HARTUNG
CHIEF OF STAFF & COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER
Kelsey Hartung is Cobblestone's Chief of Staff and Communications Officer. She leads the development and execution of strategic communications and external affairs across Cobblestone and its companies, including media relations, marketing, and creative content development.
With 15 years of expertise in strategic communications, media relations, government affairs, community engagement, and event planning and management, Kelsey excels at driving innovative initiatives.
Prior to joining our team, she served in a leadership role with Michigan’s largest Black-owned communications agency, where she led the team in developing groundbreaking communication projects for a variety of clients.
Before that, Kelsey handled corporate communications for Ilitch Holdings, Inc. in Detroit, led communications and event planning for the legal staff at General Motors, served as director of communications and public affairs for the Public Lighting Authority, and also worked at Detroit’s storied boutique public relations agency, Berg Muirhead & Associates.
Kelsey received a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and a Master of Arts in mass communication from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. She is a member of the Rotary Club of Detroit.

Schafie M. Nasiry is a distinguished construction and project management professional. He brings more than a decade of comprehensive experience leading multidisciplinary projects across various industries, including healthcare, hospitality, corporate interiors, and residential living.
A George Mason University alumnus with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Infrastructure Engineering, Schafie has proven to be a dynamic force in the field, showcasing an exceptional ability to steer projects from conception to completion with remarkable success.
Before joining Cobblestone, Schafie played a pivotal role as Vice President of Construction & Development at Colony Capital Inc., where he spearheaded a portfolio exceeding $4 billion in assets, delivering projects that consistently drove NOI growth and maximized cash flows. His tenure at JLL and Turner Construction Company further solidified his expertise, managing high-profile projects such as The New Sibley Hospital and Salamander Resort & Spa, emphasizing his adeptness in handling complex construction volumes and fostering collaborative environments.

MELISSA CHOLAK
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS
Melissa Cholak, the Senior Vice President of Operations, boasts a rich professional background spanning more than twenty years, commencing in 2000. Her extensive experience includes collaborations with eminent organizations such as Corvias, Darwin Homes, Greystar, and GSA’s Yugo.
Melissa possesses a wealth of expertise in executing new development lease-ups within competitive markets, managing acquisitions, overseeing substantial capital investments, and orchestrating community rebranding initiatives. Melissa is distinguished for her outcome-oriented methodology, specializing in leasing tactics, revenue enhancement, cost supervision, and prompt execution of capital enhancements.
Renowned for her results-driven ethos, Melissa's leadership style is characterized by dedication to her team's development. Over two decades, Melissa has ascended from being a leasing consultant to her current role as Senior Vice President, overseeing operations and asset management for nearly 13,000 units.
Her enduring passion for this dynamic industry is evident in her diverse experience across student housing, P3 Institutional projects, multifamily residences, and single-family rentals, all of which equip her with a robust foundation for guiding our Operations and Asset Management teams.

VICE PRESIDENT, STRATEGY
Da'Mario Jones is Vice President of Strategy at Cobblestone Development, spearheading the Consulting Team. Da’Mario is responsible for cultivating new business partnerships, conducting market target research, developing and implementing strategies, and supporting overarching company objectives.
A distinguished alumnus of the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, Da'Mario is an expert in researching potential land opportunities, negotiating purchase agreements, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including property owners, government agencies, and legal teams. His responsibilities extend to ensuring that the organization's acquired land meets the criteria for the intended development, adheres to zoning regulations, and aligns with the company's overall goals.
Da'Mario's notable proficiency in navigating complex legal and regulatory frameworks contributes significantly to the success of real estate projects from their inception to completion.
PAVITRA (PAV) PATHAK
STAFF ACCOUNTANT
With more than a decade of experience in both the public and private sectors, Pavitra (Pav) Pathak brings a wealth of knowledge to his role as the Staff Accountant at Cobblestone Development & Consulting. His deep understanding of accounting complexities, challenges, and opportunities has positioned him as an invaluable asset to our team.
Pav holds an MBA from Webster University in the U.S., complementing his BBA in Accounting from the University of Cordilleras in the Philippines. This diverse educational background has equipped him with robust financial insights and a global perspective on investment accounting.
Fluent in Nepali, Hindi, and Tagalog, Pav's multilingual abilities enhance his communication with a broad range of clients and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and precision in all financial matters.

RICO BUOT, MBA
SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST
Rico Buot, MBA, is the Senior Analyst in the Finance Department for Cobblestone Development. He is proficient in creating detailed financial models for real estate investments, including cash flow projections, sensitivity analysis, and ROI calculations. He is essential in preparing comprehensive financial reports and communicating effectively with senior management, investors, and stakeholders.
Rico is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps infantry. His time in the military shaped his work ethic and instilled in him the importance of discipline, time management, adaptability, attention to detail, and problem-solving.
Rico attended the University of Houston C.T. Bauer College of Business with an undergrad in Finance and an MBA in Commercial Real Estate Investment and Finance. He spent the first several years of his career as a commercial mortgage broker, where he learned the key components of deal execution, such as underwriting, deal management, and loan closing. Since then, he has transitioned his focus solely into being an underwriter on the principal side.
NATHAN KILLOUGH
DIRECTOR OF LAND ACQUISITION
As the Director of Land Acquisition at Cobblestone, Nate plays a pivotal role in spearheading negotiations and overseeing the acquisition process for our company. With a focus on meticulous due diligence, financial analysis, and compliance monitoring, he ensures seamless transactions and the expansion of our property portfolio.
His journey to this position has been shaped by a diverse range of experiences and a commitment to continuous learning. Nate attended Texas Tech University, University of Mary Hardin Baylor, and Liberty University, where he acquired a solid foundation in business and leadership principles.
Having served honorably in the Army for 17 years, including two deployments to Iraq, Nate brings a unique perspective shaped by service and leadership. Following his military career, he founded and successfully operated his own company for a decade, honing his entrepreneurial skills and deepening his understanding of business dynamics.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Nate is deeply committed to civic engagement and community development. Serving on numerous city, county, and economic development boards, as well as a four-year tenure as a City Councilman in Hutto, TX, one of the nation's fastest-growing cities, has afforded him invaluable insights into urban planning, growth management, and stakeholder collaboration.
